An invitation into the Realm of Rey Jaiteh | BOOK
Welcome to The Realm of Rey Jaiteh. This lookbook offers a glimpse into the world of “Rey Jaiteh.” Written, and created by me, Lamin “Rey” Jaiteh, a New York-based fashion designer and photographer, this project captures the art, memories, and emotions that mark the beginning of my story.
For me, designing is much more than just production. Each piece I create is thoughtfully curated through a meticulous process of fabric sourcing, color analysis, and, most importantly, emotion. The shape of each silhouette is a translation of my feelings, thoughts, and experiences—each stitch bringing the fabric to life.
My story begins as a young boy who learned from his father, perhaps the most influential person in my journey. Through him, I acquired a life-changing skill: the art of fashion. With that skill, I discovered both myself and my purpose.
This project tells the story of the creation of Rey Jaiteh, both as a brand and as an artist.
